My name is Dave Harduby I was born and lived most of my life in Wallingford, CT. We now reside in Seymour with my wife, Raquel, daughter Alyssa, and our German Shepherd, Luka.
I started working at the age of ten, delivering a seven-day-a-week paper, The New Haven Register. I also mowed lawns in the summer and shoveled snow in the winter. On the day I turned sixteen, I had my first job pumping gas and cleaning the shop and office. I was doing part-time mechanic work and graduated from high school, after which I became a full-time mechanic. I quit that job and worked in a cable factory, but I didn't like the conditions, so I left and went back to school for a year to learn Computer Electronics. After graduating, I worked as an Electronic Technician for a company and was promoted to a production control Planner. While at this company, I started taking college classes at night while working full time. I was then promoted again to a Sales Support Specialist, supporting the division manufacturing and selling LSC and Gamma counters. I also completed my Bachelor's of Science in Business Marketing.
From there, I left the company and had my first outside sales job selling two-way radio equipment. I furthered my career by working in the cellular industry as a Corporate Account Representative, representing the major cellular providers. Then I moved on to selling communication equipment for a major distributor in the structured cabling industry. I spent fifteen years in this industry. I then left and worked as an area Representative for seven years in the Industrial Supply industry. For the last twelve years, I have been self-employed in the merchant services industry. I have represented several providers and have done the research to only represent providers that meet my very high standards.
For the past twelve years, I have worked as an independent agent in the Merchant Services industry. My focus is on representing the best providers with excellent reputations who prioritize treating people well. In a world dominated by AI and automation, it's rare to find companies that value personalized service.
